Flint Wallace To Lead Wolforth Camp in Chicago This Fall.
Former director of baseball at TCU & pitcher with the Oakland A's organization, and now head of player development at the Texas Baseball Ranch Will Lead the Chicago Camp this October.
Coach Wallace - The former director of player development at TCU & pitcher with the Oakland A's system, and currently the director of player development at The Ron Wolforth Texas Baseball Ranch will be leading the Chicago event October 24,25,26.
Coach Ron has a personal family commitment and will not be able to attend this fall. While some may miss a few of Ron's jokes, I assure you of another awesome event because he is sending theguy who leads all the ranch programs, and has done over 80 camps with Coach Wolforth. The same guy even major league teams recognize as the top pitching coach in the country!!
Since 2007 Flint Wallace has done over 80 camps with Coach Wolforth and in 2013 coach Wolforth hired Flint Wallace to become the director of player development at the Texas Baseball Ranch. Wallace's decision to accept the Ranch position came despite getting offers to work for Major League Teams including; including the NY Mets, Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Cleveland Indians. Many of you who have attended the Texas Baseball Ranch know Flint Wallace very well.
Flint held the pitching coach position at Weatherford College near Ft.Worth Texas until last season. Coach Wallace decided to accept the director of baseball operations position at the Texas Baseball Ranch despite numerous offers from the MLB teams listed above.
You may have heard of one of Coach Flint Wallace's students - Zach Britton, the closer for the Baltimore Orioles.
Another name you will hear: Currently the number 1 pitching prospect in the state of the Texas, Beau Burrows, is also one of Coach Wallace's students and will Beau will be likely drafted in the first round of 2015 MLB draft.
I am excited to announce coach Flint Wallace will be heading up the Chicago Pitching Boot Camp this fall. While he is well known in the Ranch circles I can't wait for him to bring us the latest in the Texas Baseball Ranch training concepts this fall.
Of course if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me at the number below or email me directly. We have capped this event out to hold only 38 students. We currently have 10 openings left for this event this fall.
* On Saturday we will break for lunch around noon and return at 1:30pm. All participants can leave for lunch or bring a lunch with them.
* Parents are strongly encouraged to attend this event with their kid.
* You should have a notebook and something to write with as Coach Wolforth will provide you with important notes in between activities.

A great message......
Great Camp! I definitely learned quite a bit, especially in regards to pain and video analysis. As a travel ball coach this informaiton is priceless. I will be able to implement the drills and ideas into my own instruction.
This was my son's first camp and it was incredible. Ron's insight and philosophy are fantastic and very easily understandable. I really liked was that he really relates well with the kids and has a great message that doesn't apply to only baseball. Thank you to Fastball USA for hosting this camp and thanks again to Ron! I hope we can make it back in the future.

Attend The Three Day Weekend Camp At Fastball USA
Never Experienced This Before
We have been to so many baseball academies but we have never experienced in depth, hands on, student specific breakdown of our son's pitching delivery. He now knows what steps and corrections that will delivery 8-12mph on the mound. Ron de-mistified the pitching delivery and saved his arm in a weekend.
Thanks Ron and Mike!
A Wealth Of Knowledge
As a parent experiencing this event for the 2nd time, I can't express enough my thanks for the wealth of knowledge that Ron Wolforth has taught my son and our family. The learning of new techniques that improve velocity while preventing arm injuries is priceless!
Coach Ron Wolforth and staff provide the tools and positive work ethics to help athletes improve in mind and body. I enjoy the humor that's added to the positive motivation training. The belief that one can achieve is not a dream, but reality if you can improve .038% everyday.
John Thomas, our son, has greatly benefited in this program and his passion to be in the MLB has instilled a drive to believe and achieve.
Thanks and see you in February.
Different Than Any Pitching Camp You Have Ever Attended!
This was a fantastic clinic !
The reinforcement of everything Mike does at Fastball USA is excellent. The clinic focuses on 1 - 3 key points per day, coupled with a video analysis of every player. It was really important for the kids to see themselves on video because sometimes they think they are doing one thing and they are actually doing something else.
My son said he "felt like a pitcher again" and he was really pumped up, after each session. Having very high quality (MLB and others) players working on the physical drills with the kids while Ron reviews film was also excellent. The positive spirit, and encouragement was also a refreshing piece of the weekend. Mike walked away with 3 key things to work on and improve on.
To know that his mechanics were right on and his arm soreness was coming from his scapula and that 6 weeks of therapy will fix that was a huge boost of confidence for him. He kept thinking it was a mechanical problem as we were as parents - who'd of known.
The boys and parents come here to learn. Wow! Do we learn. If you want to improve your speed 5-7mph this is the place. If you want to learn to take better care of your arm - this is the place. Coach Wolforth's video analysis is thorough and very informative. He teaches and evaluates areas of the boys pitching form that no high school or travel coach would dream of analyzing.
If your son wants learn and wants to improve and take better care of his arm, this is the clinic for him.
I also loved the motivational clips that make your hair stand up. Lastly they show the boys what exercises they can work on to improve their strength and conditioning. Coach Wolforth and Coach Ryan and staff are great teachers.
Learned More in 3 days Than His Entire Career
As a parent and a coach who is a former college and semi-pro pitcher I can say this..... I learned more from this camp in three days then in my entire pitching career. All pitching coaches and players who are passionate about pitching should attend this event. Myself and my two sons will be back!
Great Clinic! I knew the older athletes would benefit from the Ron Wolforth clinic but to see my 10 year old enjoy, learn and develop over three days was fantastic. Both the drills and the lecture portion of the clinic were beneficial and interesting for him. Very inspirational!
Thanks for having Coach Wolforth at Fastball USA!
Coach spoke to 9 year olds to 19 year olds with equal importance. This camp was a great blend of baseball training & the mental approach to baseball & life. A division I pitcher & a 13 year old each walked away with game changing facts that will impact their future success. Thank You!
This camp offers a view un-like what you will get at any other place offered. The detail offered is also un-like you get anywhere else. The best aspect of this camp is the explanation of the why and then applying theory into practical experience with the drills.
The Opportunity To Work With Coach Wolforth At Fastball USA in Chicago
My name is Mike Ryan, owner and director of baseball training at Fastball USA. It has been my goal at Fastball USA to give our students the very best opportunities to succeed by giving them a complete program. A huge part of our students success is because of knowledge, work, and dedication of Coach Ron Wolforth.
Coach Wolforth is hands down the best pitching coach in the world today. . The results have been fabulous and has led our academy to have 24, 90mph throwers, while placing several of players either into professional baseball, division I baseball, and several other levels of college baseball. This also includes my 9 year old son who also attends theses camps. I am very impressed with Ron's ability to communicate, and the personal attention he gives players at every camp.
Most of all the information, training, and education on arm health and arm care is the best your going to get anywhere. When your arm is healthy you can perform better. Ron understands this better than any pitching coach I have ever seen.
Take a look at the info below. I look forward to seeing you in Chicago For the Ron Wolforth Pitching Camps at Fastball USA!

Read What These Participants Had to Say about the Ron Wolforth Pitching Camp
“ It was the best pitching camp I have ever been to! It covered everything a pitcher should do, not only throwing wise, but the complete package.Stretching, thinking, core training, and even our mind.
Getting advice on what I need to work on as a pitcher, especially being older was outstanding. Also learning the routine is not only great for a pitcher, but any coach or parent involved in baseball.Overall a weekend spent with Ron is 3 days that will have an affect on the rest of your life. “
Michael Keller Colfax, Illinois
I have been changed by this camp because the new information I have learned.I learned I need to get my pelvis out further to gain more MPH, and I have improved my posture which has helped my control.
I now have a different outlook on how I will approach things. For example believing in myself and now I have set a goal to reach 85mph.
I would recommend to anyone to come to this camp because it will change your views and your ability as a pitcher.I also recommend to come to Fastball USA for weekly training like I have done.
Charlie Jerger Chicago, IL
This camp was an inspirational an eye opening experience for me.The drills, workout, techniques and mental way of looking at pitching possibilities are all amazing.I have lifted weights and done other workouts, but none like these explosive activities.
I would greatly recommend this to anyone who is seriously interested in taking the first steps to becoming a better pitcher. You will not leave this camp thinking it was a waste of time….I promise.
There is so much to gain from this camp it would be a mistake to pass up the opportunity.
This camp has really changed the way I think about pitching.Coach Wolforth is an infulencital voice in pitching for me.This camp has also given me new ways to boost my pitching speed and I would recommend this camp for others (un-less they are up against me for a spot!)
This was the most motivational pitching camp I have ever attended and if there is every an opportunity I would come back again, and again and again.
I went to the past Wolforth camp last year and I learned new things about pitching again this year.I found myself pushing myself this past year in the different directions because of what I learned at the Wolforth camp.
I am going to turn 22 in November, and never quit on myself as a pitcher. My goal is to pitch 90mph and Coach Wolforth has helped me to get closer to achieving that goal.
We drove 5 hours to attend the Ron Wolforth Clinic at Fastball USA and it was really worth it. I like the way Ron teaches and I liked taking notes during lecture sessions and topics of pitch counts, and the motivational clips. The new drills with throwing and improving strength were awesome. Thanks Coach Wolforth!
Joseph Omilinsky Egg Harbor, Wisconsin
This was the best pitching camp I ‘ve ever been to!I learned to push beyond my mental limitations and my body is capable of great things. It's amazing how not many pitchers lead with their pelvis anymore and no coaches teach it.
I think I will be able to throw much harder and accurate because of what I have learned from Coach Wolforth this weekend.I love how he analyzes hall of fame pitchers and their mechanics and gives easily understood drills to improve MOVEMENTS and not the more common, contemporary pitching coach faux pas positions.
“This camp completely changed my view about Pitching. I have introduced to new workouts and exercises that improve velocity and command.Ron has encouraged me not to give up and it is ok to fail but get right back to it so I can succeed.
This camp has taught me if you really want to be the best you can possibly be you want to see Coach Wolforth.Your mind and your heart have to change for your arm and body to change.
I will come back to any camps Ron Wolforth has here in Chicago. This camp was hands down the best pitching camp I have ever been to”
Kristofer Hiatt Rochester, Indiana
This camp was amazing. Coach Wolforth explains everything that is needed to throw harder and to make you go further. I learned a lot about what to do and what NOT to do. The drills are designed to help you throw harder and help pitching.
Coach Wolforth emphasized it really does not matter where you start, it matters where you finish. Thanks Coach Wolforth.
Zack Fortunato Age 13
"I loved this camp!We did drills that I have never seen before.Coach Wolforth told me to move my pelvis out more and when I do this I feel more explosive.I learned the importance of being quick with my arm action and drills to blend into my pitching delivery. "
“ This was the most challenging camp I have ever attended and I had a lot fun. I hit 83mph for the first time.I learned a lot from Coach Wolforth including the concepts of pelvic loading and that I needed to change my total belief system when it comes to pitching.Coach Wolforth also personalized the drills to fit my specific needs.”
Comments From The November 2012 Camp
Solve Your Pain
One of the best baseball camps I have ever been to. You can find out how to solve your pain in your arm and he shows us how to do it. Coach Wolforth shows you plenty of drills that you can do on your own at your home. Fastball USA is so much different from anywhere else, and that is what makes it so good.
Coach Wolforth analyzes your pitching movements on video breaking down lower half, connection, and posture. For some kids he is the difference of 10mph. I love that he give you tons of positive emotion and lots of motivational videos. This is a great experience you don't get anywere else and I'm looking forward to coming back again!
NO MATTER WHAT LEVEL - YOU WILL IMPROVE!
No matter what level of baseball you're at, you will improve strength, speed, velocity, command and overall arm health. I've improved my art and craft of throwing and pitching an almost unbelievable amount in the past two years of attending Coach Wolforths camps.
I am no where near as good as I will be in 2,3,4,5 years. I can't even fathom the success that I could have from using the "tools" I have been given from Coach Wolforth and this camp.
Yes I Can
The drills and the methods that I was taught this weekend were incredibly beneficial for me. One of things I loved the most was Coach Wolforth preached so much this weekend to say "I can" not I can't ".
I know at my age I will have to work extremely hard at what I do if I want to be the best of the best. The entire camp was very well run and was very beneficial for me.
Thank you Coach Wolforth!
There is always new stuff we are learning at each camp
The Ron Wolforth Pitching Camp at Fastball USA is very helpful because I always learn something new each time I am here. This camp I learned new deceleration drills like the Marshall I and Marshall II.
I have also learned how tell which hookem drill I am suppose to use for my personal delivery, and many more mechanical things by watching my video analysis.
I am always surprised how many new things I learn each year at this camp.
“ This was another outstanding baseball clinic given by Ron Wolforth andFastball USA.He continues to be a wealth of knowledge with new techniques that developes healthy pitchers.
After this weekend Charlie is motivated to work hard, so he can achieve new highs for himself. We have seen a lot this weekend that can help the physical aspects of pitching with proper warm up's like the Rugby’s and core drills. We know these techniques are crucial to his performance as a pitcher. Thanks again and we look forward to your next clinic.”
Chuck Jerger Chicago,IL
“This was a very valuable weekend. This is my fourth year and I still get pumped when he comes.I have seen leading with your hip before, but I have never felt it like I did this weekend .This is the first time I felt the hip and pelvis loading when I threw.
I highly recommend anyone that wants to become a better pitcher to attend this camp.Coach Wolforth and the Fastball USA Coaching Staff are the most knowledgeable pitching coaches and are great, great teachers. “
“This camp was extremely valuable!Especially the drills that help improve throwing arm strength and speed.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to gain velocity.Every is explained simply for everyone to understand.
I learned the importance of the hip rotation, pronation, and follow through.Coach Wolforth is a great teacher and makes it fun and challenging for boys of all ages.I will be participating in this camp for years to come and incorporating his techniques in my teams practices.
“ This camp was un-like any pitching camp my son has ever participated in.Everything about the camp is different.Everything was unique, starting with the mental approach to the training, warm up, drills and throwing.
For me as a parent I was looking for something different because the current camps and clinics my son has attended did not provide information for ability enhancement. This is differencital from where he is now increasing his ability.
All feedback from other clinics has been wait til grows, gets older or wait until he gets bigger to throw harder or hit, swing harder. Thanks for a great camp.
“ I got a ton out of the weekend with Ron Wolforth.I learned exactly what was holding me back and how to break through the barriers.I also learned what I had been doing wrong as it relates to stretching, warming up, which is a key part of the game.
I recommend that others keep an open mind and attend the Wolforth clinic.I extremely enjoyed Ron and his program and training with top notch players in a spectacular training facility like Fastball USA."
Previous Wolforth Camps With Fastball USA
This is my fourth time attending a Ron Wolforth Camp at Fastball USA.
The WolforthCamp helped me learn more about commandfrom Coaches Wolforths Oates Protocol and perspective.
The drills emphasized the importance of stability and how it effects control and velocity.
This camp really emphasizes the importance of “intent” and the “mindset” in order to throw harder and along with pushing the envelope just like we do at Fastball USA. I highly recommend this camp to other serious pitchers.
“ I wanted to let you know I got a lot of wisdom of pitching and working to become a better pitcher at the Wolforth Clinic. Every year I have been to this camp there has been new and more material and workout sets to improve our velocity and control.I really like the new Donley set and the new warm-up’s.
I recommend this program to other serious pitchers because he shows you ways to become more explosive and more efficient with body movements. This program has provided many spikes in pitchers performance and efficiency. The Ron Wolforth pitching camp has been one ofthe best additions to the Fastball USA baseball Academy.”
Jack Czeszewski 6 Time Camp Attendee!
I really got a lot out of this weekend. We did way more than everyone else is doing so we get more than everyone else gets. After a while we learn the new things and we think we “get it”.Then, like this weekend, we are given new things and start our learning process again.
Our muscles get used to things we already know.Coach Wolforth does a great job at creating muscles confusion to help get you past being stuck.
I learned all the different variables that effect velocity and the importance of the pronation arm care series. The warm up is so detailed and is even narrowed down to the ankle which I never even though about. We can never know enough and each Wolforth Camp we keep on learning.
Thanks Coach Wolforth For another information packed weekend!
The Wolforth Clinic was an absolute great experience.I learned more drills to increase my velocity and give me more functional strength. If you or someone you know is thinking about attending this event, I highly recommend it because it will benefit velocity, control and overall performance.
I loved the discussion and breakdown on pitching grips because I realized I had a different grip that was helping my movement. The motivational clips are also very inspiring.
