Team Fastball 15's Defeat Seminoles 8-5 in Rockford Tourney at Riverhawk stadium!
Only in it's first year of existance, Team Fastball knocked off Schaumburg Seminoles 8-5 in game three on Sunday at Riverhawk Stadium. All weekend the 15's received steller pitching and timely hitting. Three tremendous pitching outings from Tyler Brown, Rob Zerfas, and Ethan Bloom throughout the weekend.
The Team Fastball 17U team just missed of sending the Rockford Hitmen into extra innings staging an exciting come from behind effort at Riverhawk stadium. Dom Demicco gave up three runs in the second inning and then settled down to shut down Rockford for the next five innings. Dan Behof hit the top of the wall, just missing a game tying home run in the bottom of the 7th with 2 a strike count. Overall an excellent effort by the 17U team even with missing key starters.
