Jack has been a Fastball student since the 4th grade.
Ranked as one of the top players in the class of 2012, Jack was selected as an All-Area player his sopmore season.   In addition, Jack was invited this summer to the Tropicana National Showcase in Florida. 

Jack is a left handed pitcher (85mph) and an outstanding hitter, outfielder and is very fast.

Sean can run, hit, throw, hit for power and is very fast in the outfield.
Sean posted a tremendous junior year for Glenbrook North from the mound and at the plate.

Mitch Baker

Mitch Baker is a tall lanky right handed pitcher with a fastball between 84-88mph.   Mitch also displays a nasty split finger fastball to compliment his fastball.

Mitch is a potential DI player with a loose free whip like throwing motion, with good arm action.
 

Carl Sugihara

   Elk Grove's Sugihara performs on and off the field
Read a recent article about Fastball student Carl Sugihara.  Carl is 90-91mph throwing speed from the outfield and 82mph off the mound.    Carl has also posted ball exit speeds and bat speed of over 90mph.   Carl will be exceptional at the next level.   Class of 2011.

Elk Grove wins three:

Elk Grove (14-4) hit 6 homers in 3 victories in the Niles North tournament.  All games were scheduled for 5 innings, but the Grens beat Niles North 7-5 as Carl Sugihara (3-for-3) hit a game-winning 2-run homer in the bottom of the sixth. Ryan Martinski also homered.

Elk Grove pounded Northside Prep 23-5 as Nico Piscopo hit a grand slam and winner Colin Semler and Eric Kaczynski homered. Sugihara was 3-for-3.

The Grens beat Vernon Hills 3-1 as Joey DeHuebles threw a 2-hitter and Tony Logli homered.



Hersey 6, Elk Grove 1: Chris James homered, doubled and had 2 RBI and Steve Danielak (7-2) threw a 4-hitter with 10 strikeouts and 1 walk for Hersey (16-16, 8-7) in the MSL East. Chris Polinski had bases-loaded triple in the first.

Carl Sugihara was 2-for-3 and Colin Semler had an RBI double for Elk Grove (18-14, 5-10).

Elk Grove 12, Maine South 4:
Visiting Elk Grove (15-7) broke out of a three-game losing streak as Joe DeHuebles got the victory and doubled twice in a game called after 6 innings.

DeHuebles (2-0) had 4 strikeouts and 3 walks and allowed only 1 run in his last 3 innings. Carl Sugihara went 2-for-3 for the Grenadiers

Charlie has been training since the 4th grade with Fastball USA.
Played varsity baseball with ND High School as a sophomore and pitched in many key games for the Dons.  The 6'0' LHP posts a fastball between 80-83mph.
