Exactly how do you measure up?
On Sunday Night, September 13th, Fastball USA will be hosting a 1 day baseball combine. The Combine will specifically measure your ability in key areas that college and pro scouts look for in players.
Regardless of your age, it's important to see how you rank when it comes to wanting to be at the highest levels of baseball.
The Combine Will Measure Your Ability:
> Quickness/Agility/range
> Throwing Power, Throwing Accuracy
> Pitching (Velocity, Movement, deception, command and more)
Hitters:
> Your Ability to Hit hard Consistently with good flight
> Bat Speed Combined and Compared to Exit Speed
> Efficiency in movements and mechanics
Plus key areas of education, instruction, training to improve all of the above areas: Our systemized program will measure exactly where you stand compared to other athletes who are considered to be top MLB or College Prospects.
Mike Ryan, Seattle Mariners Scout, Owner and Director of baseball training at Fastball USA. Coach Ryan will share insights on common mistakes being made in todays "travel baseball world", and what to watch out for before it's too late. Many things may not be exactly what you might expect.
As a scout, what exactly are pro scouts looking for and why. Make sure your instruction and training is matching what pro and college scouts are looking for.
Steve Vandenbranden, Professional Pitching Coach, and Head Pitching Instructor at Fastball USA. Coach Steve served as the head baseball coach at North Park University for a decade, and also served as an assistant coach before that. What are college coaches looking for? Do you know what they like as much as what they don't like? Do you also know some of things your practicing right now might be ANTI-TRAINING WHEN IT COMES TO GETTING YOU BETTER. Coach Steve will be on hand for as a teacher for this event.
For Those Who Have Not Even Reached High School Yet, This is perfect...
For those who have not reached high school yet, this is a great way to get a head of the game. It is far easier to get evaluated at a combine and make adjustments and improvements at a younger age than it is when your older.
If you want to be starting on your varsity team, you will also have to understand key areas that go way beyond just mechanics.
TRAINING FOR IMPROVEMENT:
In addition this combine will be very educational on exactly what you need to do to improve your current situation. A personal evaluation for each COMBINE PARTICIPANT.
Parents are also welcome to be in attendance. Players are also asked to bring notebooks for recording and note taking at this event. If your serious about playing at the highest levels of baseball this is an event that you don't want to miss.
How do you know where your going if you don't know where you are at?
Get a professional evaluation from a scout, college coach, and tested in various areas of baseball power. Running, quickness, strength, speed, range, jumping power, bat speed, exit speed, throwing power and more.
Typically a combine event is much more expensive than this. The September Combine event is only $50.00 for all registrations before Sunday, August 30th.
The Combine will go from 5pm - 8pm on Sunday Evening, Sept 13th.
After Sunday the fee will be $99.00 to attend.
